The staff is very helpful and friendly, the cleanliness of the room, the location and easy access to transportation. Shuttle service to and from the Kyoto station.
No internet room, last time I visited the Hotel it had a computer room with free internet. No continental breakfast.

I like the staff, the service the confort and the cleanliness of the room, location, it has a shuttle service that will drop you off and pick you up from the Kyoto station, and close to some point of interest. Bus stop near the hotel
It does not have a sign, so at night it very easy to miss if you are taking the bus.

The room was clean and you had all the things I might need in the room (toothbursh, tea, and water close by the room) :)
I hope this doesn't sound arrogant, but I thought more hotel staff would have spoken English. Both at the breakfast and the beer garden!

Staff really helpful. The room was clean. Having an adjacent shopping center was handy.
The position is not the best, too far away from the city center. There is a bus stop close to the hotel, but buses run just until 10 P.M. Afterwards there is the subway (until midnight), but the closest stop is at 20 min walking distance. The price of the bike rental is a bit too expensive in my opinion.

If you like 1980s corporate sterile environments... This hotel is for you.
Long way from station Friday rate was ridiculous. 4 times normal rate. Cleaners were useless - only bed made - rest of room not cleaned. Hotel is grubby and dated. Not recommended.

the hotel is near east side of kyoto which you can take taxi to most temples in that side.
far away from metro station. We have to take taxi each day.
